How was it not his intent to use my picture? He searched, found and posted a photo that was not of their birds to sell eggs from totally different birds. He has 100% positive feedback....what a bunch of baloney.

Just like ANOTHER person we know who likes to use others pics, this guy is full of BS. By NOT sayin those are just suppose to represent the birds, MOST would think those are his birds. And unfortunately with EBAY, the feedbacks are encouraged as soon as the product is shipped. Not 6 months after you have grown out his garbage to know it is garbage. Same with this other EBAYer who sells eggs all the time. That person is claiming their lines are from a notoriuosly well known Exhibition breeders line, only the problem is, when she started to claim that line, it was physically impossible for 2 pullets to lay a dozen eggs week in and week out. Heck I can't even get a dozen eggs now in a week from my Blacks. I just HATE LIARS!!!! IF all you have is junk, be proud of your junk, like Fred G. Sanford junk man!

LOL...everytime I see one of her ebay auctions I wonder if it's really her birds she's showing now. Some of them are certainly nothing to write home about so I would assume those are really hers.

It occurs to me that this might not be a member of BYC. When we do a google image search on a particular chicken it pops up pictures from all sorts of websites and forums. Maybe its possibe that he/she got your image like that? I too didnt know you could watermark pictures with photoshop. Thats pretty cool. Its to bad its ebays policy to use it anyway.

Me, I wouldnt care if they used my photos, but I probably dont use a camera as well as you or for the same purpose. Also I cant see why they wont take it down now that you've asked.

Actually it's against ebay's policy to use any photo that the seller either doesn't have permission to use or that they themselves didn't create.

They have taken the photo down and replaced it.

glad you put this up again, because, Ranchie, as I read your initial post, I couldn't help but think, these new pics probably aren't their own chickens either. it's still easier to post someone else's pics. just a new *someone else*. buyer beware.

I had the same thought...and I asked them if those are really their birds.

Same thoughts here, just trying to be subtle.

It's pretty sad that someone would sell under false or misleading advertising, but it happens all the time, not just with eggs on ebay.

lolol Nowadays it prolly is. But she still tells a different story in an email ONLY. lolol Last year I just about bought from her too. Just didn't seem right. So I went to the parent stock breeder and asked. As it turns out ironically, one of my Roo's that parent stock breeder had sent me, as it turns out it is the father of the eggs that our friend hatched last winter a year ago in December. She told the parent stock breeder ONLY 3 eggs hatched. Then in July were selling two half dozen egg auctions per week. Touting the Parent Stock breeders name as her line. With nothing else introduced. I still have those emails. In a hot climate in July with at best two 7 month oles. Since one of the three has to be a cockerel, or you can not legitamately claim the parent stock breeders name when you sell. And that is a dozen eggs a week in July from two birds. lolololol
