stoopid broody ugh just had to vent

one of the silkies went Broody last sat they usually set for weeks. so what does she do decide naw don't wanna. Of course my frizzle cochin eggs came today and my incubator has my seramas in it. Now suppose I should go buy another incubator If I stillhad my Polly she would sit forever til she died if she had to, miss that little girl.

Yep, as you discovered not all broodys are the same. When you have a great broody and great mom after the hatch it makes life so simple. The really good broodys are priceless.

Got the new incubator up and running just tweeking the temps now. Didn't really need 2 incubators but too late now haha. I will have to give chicks away pretty soon as I can have only so many since I live in town.
