Stop crowing AND keep your roosters alive?

Isn't that kind of young to crow?

I think that my two bantam roosters started to practice crowing at 3-4 months old. They didn't get that good until 5-6 months old though.

if you have close neighbors, the collar is a good idea, but if you don't I would keep his crow, i love the sound of their crowing.

If you have close neighbors, I would start with just hens. Share the eggs a little, and then maybe a rooster. Roosters are a bit of a crap shoot, and have ruined the whole chicken experience for a lot of people in more ways than one.
