With the 4 new chicks I will have a total of 28.... but 2 of my hens are about to be rehomed to a friend with a lonely rooster.... so 26. Also we have an additional 3x10 side coop that opens into the main coop that we built for 'chicken introduction' before they go in with everyone else.
Yea, that's about right. You are giving away 2, gaining 4....total of 28. I just checked on my chick-culator and thats what it came up with! Chick-culator doing chicken math never makes a mistake!!!!
