Stop Turning Eggs Sooner?

Can I take the Turner out and stop turning them as many times a day a week before they are due?
If you want to know why..I feel like everytime I've opened the incubator right before lockdown to take the turner out I may have caused a few to shrink wrap or die early bc the humidity drops quickly in the LG incubator.

During lockdown I can see shrink wrap happen, but not prior. And usually it’s when it’s open for extended periods of time. Do you candle to keep track of the air cell size?

Right so my question is can you stop turning them a week before they are due? I want to lockdown earlier than day 18 and get everything stable and keep it there. And yes I know they are alive on lockdown day.

No, they need to be turned at least 3x a day. You can’t stop turning on day 14. What do you have your humidity at during lockdown?
