Stopped laying - I don't know why

I have 6 chickens, two who are full grown Auracaunas, who have been laying regularly ever since I got them in the spring. One lays 1 every day,and the other lays one every OTHER day. For the past week +, they have stopped laying. There is nothing different at all - no different food, they have fresh water, treats, lots of room in the coop/run, etc. but suddenly they just stopped laying. It was really, really, really hot here last week - high humidity that was a killer for a week, but the past few days have been very nice - back in the 70's with low humidity. Do you think the heat had anything to do with why they both just suddenly stopped? Is there anything I can do to get them going again? They are in with 1 rooster and 3 other smaller hens who haven't started laying yet - and the rooster has just started asserting his "roosterhood," but he doesn't seem mean or anything, so I'm not sure that has anything to do with it. Just puzzling to me. They aren't molting or anything that I can tell that would account for the sudden stop. Any ideas or suggestions?

It's most likely the weather. Also, they don't lay 12 months out of the year; now and then, they need a break now & then, so it's probably nothing more than that.
