Stopped laying, it's been 7 months, something isnt right. PLEASE HELP!

Update:

1st off I want to thank EVERYONE for their comments. We are now getting about 4-5 eggs a day (it just started a few days ago). However we are not sure what it is that started them up again. The white leghorn that we bough that was laying then stopped has now been laying about everyday. We also have a new layer because the egg was green. It could have been the filtered water, keeping them in the coop/run, the calf mana. I'm not sure but at least we are getting some. It's still no where near the number I hope to be getting but at this point I will take ANY. I will continue to update everyone whether the numbers go up or down.

did you mark any and leaft them to see if they were getting eaten? you should still try that if not, but if you are getting more eggs I suspect they have been laying most of the time and hiding them from you outside. I would continue to keep them locked up in coop and run for a while longer and test the egg eating theory as well. So happy that you are getting eggs again, it wont be long till your frig is full in my opinion.

Being locked up in the coop would have provided them with a higher protein diet which might have kicked in the laying mode.

They might also have been laying the whole time and eating/ hiding them. either way glad you have eggs. I'd still mark a few eggs and see if they disappear.
