Stopped laying

Why did my indian runner stop laying.

She could be too old?

How old is she?
Did she recently molt, or is she molting now?
Did you recently change feeds?
Have there been new ducks added?

All could effect laying. Molting will stop laying until the new feathers are grown back in. They put their energy into feather growth, then resume laying.

She is about a year old.

i was told yesterday that a chicken will stop laying regurally because of the heat..so maybe the same happens with ducks...just a thought...

It has been really hot and my chickens have stopped laying too.
