stopped laying

I have 1 hen that has started to lay. She laid 5 eggs then stopped. The past 2 days I have seen in the nest box but when I looked later, there was no egg and no evidence of a soft shelled egg. I was not expecting eggs for about another month so they just got started on layer feed and I put oyster shell in the run yesterday. They do free range also, but this morning all 6 came out into my yard and about a 1/2 hour later I noticed 1 missing, I peeked into the coop and she was in a nest box, but no egg.
Is there something wrong or is this normal when they first start to lay?​

That's pretty normal. You could go a whole week before she starts again or get one then skip 3-4 days, 2 eggs skip 2 days...Nothing to worry about.

It's perfectly normal. I'm going through the same thing now with a new layer. She laid her first egg waited a week, then laid 2 days in a row and then stopped again. Give her time, she will start laying regularly soon.
