Our faverolle went broody near the beginning of summer, and now, a few months later, she's still trying to incubate a fake egg. We've tried forcing her off the nest multiple times and dunking her feet and belly in cold water, but she's still determined to hatch something. We dont have a rooster, though. One of the welsummers even tried laying an egg in the box she was in (while she was in it) and succeeded. She doesnt attack me (though she hates gloves) when I go near her or even pet her. She does come out on her own, and when she does, she bolts around the yard, clucking like she's seen a ghost.

She's been broody like this gor a couple months now and I was wondering if there are any other methods of stopping a broody hen?

The "cage" just a wire cage set up on blocks so air can get under. No bedding just food and water. Terrible but besides giving her eggs that is the only option left.:)
Well, if you want chicks, order some hatching eggs!

If not then IDK!

Honestly, I'd love to get some eggs for her to hatch, but Im still a kid and cant really make that decision on my own :v
That and we've been getting a lot of rain recently and its pretty muddy, though that might not hurt the chicks if they stay in the coop.
