Store bough quail eggs

So I saw someone who did this and had success. So at local little produce store I saw some quail eggs and decided to go ahead and buy them and throw them in the incubator for fun and games and sure enough their hatching!

Do you happen to hav the label on the package they came in still?

I wanted quail but my hubby said they are too loud. So exciting!

Yes they were in the refrigerator I set 24 they started hatching roughly 5 hours ago and so far their is 10!

I tried this but none of my even started to develop.
I am going to have to try again!



Are these your first quail?

Yes never done quail, have chickens,ducks,turkeys,geese,guineas but this will be a first for me. did it on whim saw them in the store and remembered seeing a post on here before about someone else doing it so i gave it shot just to see what would happen, didnt check to see if they were fertile or candle them just left them and if they hatched they hatch if they dont they dont and sure enough they started hatching lol.

Did you turn them at all?

Yes have a auto turner took it out on day 18.
