Store bought eggs hatch along anyone? I'm buying regular organic.

I lightly candeled my TJ eggs tonight and saw some activity in some of them. I won't do a good candeling until 10 days have passed. I just quicky ran the light over them while still in the Turner.

About 30 hatched so far and they looked mixed up. Some reds, some yellows, and a few more blacks. Pics tonight!

Ok so 62 have hatched so far. looks like only one more will hatch. AND I now have guineas that started to pip! Those werent set to hatch until monday...oh well they are hatching either way!

Heres is the sight I got when I pulled out the hatching tray!

Here they are in their temporary brooder until they get moved to the brooder house.

above is one that looks like a barred rock...sort of
below is one of the reds. There are a lot like him

There are about 10 that look like the one below. White with a few black spots


There are about 6 that look like this...red with darker red stripes.


This hatch was awesome. I can't wait to see what the next 8 dozen that I set last night turn into!

I am happy with 62. I set 96 and a lot of them died really early due to poor handling and refridgeration. 77 made it to lockdown so 62 out of that is good enough for me
