Hatched some brown eggs from a local store this weekend. Was expecting RIRs or some kind of mutt but all 6 came out solid yellow with feathered feet. Have any idea what they are?

Here they are in the Brooder Camera.

What ever they are I got 6 of them out of 3 dozen store eggs that cost $1.50 a dozen.

Leghorns don't have feathered feet. [IMG] The solid yellow part may be the dominant white from sex-linked hens. . . The feathering, not sure. Do they have single combs?

Yep single comb that is rather large for day olds an already laying over to the side.

    Don't see any in there.

    Perhaps buff cochins?

They seem to like to hide to the left of the camera just out of its view.

They could be Cochins I guess...?
