EVERYTHING!!!! Duck breeds, raising ducklings, keeping adult ducks, nutritional requirements, kinds of health problems they might develop and ways to lessen the chance they fall ill, housing requirements, info about showing ducks and butchering information. Somebody on here recommended the book to me and I'm glad they did. I get so much good info and support from this site it's just wonderful but I still read the book and it has a permanent place on the table by my chair.

I def. need it then. I was looking into getting a poultry breed book, but seeing as I'm not into chickens yet, I think I'll save my money and just get this one for now,

I was thinking about getting the first edition one. It's $12 cheaper and written in 2000. This should be fine right?
Mine says copy right 2001, very good book.
