stories

we got a lot of chicks from a lady in Summerville. we bought around 40 or so and almost every single one died.

we thought we did something wrong but today we talked to a guy who bought some from her too. he said he had problems with them also. he opened some up and their organs we slushed. he said it was probably cancer. we were relieved it wasn't our fault the majority died but is still sadden that they did.

Laying rigidly on her bed, she turned her head. Something was under bed. The darkness was confusing but she felt a presence. Heard breathing. The hair sticking to her neck felt like a living thing. Entire body rigid with fear, her lungs refused to work. It came closer. Deep breathing grew louder. The old wooden floor squeaked an alarming sound of anguish. She stared into the darkness and inhaled life-giving air as quietly as possible. Her skin turn cold as muscles grew rigid. The lavender glow of dawn pushed black the darkness. Gasping, she waited. Eyes staring ahead she barely made out the ceiling above her.

Scratching noises made her whimper in terror. The black night began to to turn grey. Not able to move her head, she turned her eyes to the left. Movement at the window made her heart pound like a piston. The darkness faded. Curtains waved lazily at the window. Blinking rapidly, her eyes turned to the right. She prayed the sun would rise before It devoured her.

The bed squeaked. The blanket spasmed as if electrocuted. Jerking her fists to her chest, she sat up. Ready to scream, her eyes darted about. The mattress bucked. Scratching noises at the wooden floor. Snatching the bed sheet to her face, she pulled her knees to her chest. Trapped by fear she waited..... and watched in horror as It came from under the bed.

That's my story.

That story is all about terror, I see!
Good job!

I am fairly certain that there were nasty little puppies with very sharp teeth under that bed. At least that is alway what manages to get me from unter the bed. LOL
