Storing eggs for incubation

    I'm getting an incubator and I need to know how do you store them before incubating them.

    At 50-60 degrees F, fat end up in an egg carton.
    They can store for 1 week before fertility sharply declines.

    also on a tilt. change the direction of the tilt at least 3 times a day.

    for every day of storage expect that egg to take and extra 40 min. hatching time.

    Really? What is your source for this information since I have never noticed anything like this with my hatching eggs.
