I will be starting to collect eggs for setting on the 15th of this month and I was wondering the best way to store them. Do I have to turn them while storing them? I will be setting on Feb. 22 so I should have between 15 and 20 eggs to set. Any help?

Best to store around 45-50 degrees. Some say they should be turned but I dont bother and I have great hatches here sometimes holding onto eggs before I set for over a week.

Should I store them in an egg carton? Also, is it the large end that needs to be up?

Yes to both questions. Cartons are fine. try to not use the styrofoam ones though. Big end Up!

Good Luck and God Bless!
