I would like to add dry leaves to my run floor periodically throughout the year. Any recommendations on what to do with the leaves falling now so that I have them later in the year? I saw someone say they store them bagged in a shed, but I do not have covered storage for them. I also can not justify building a shed to store my leaves :)

Thanks for any advice!

If you are where it freezes you can just pile them up somewhere. People used to use garbage bags full of leaves to pile around building to provide insulation.

The problem will come in the spring. Any moisture in those leaves will cause mold. So either put them out before it warms too much, or pile them somewhere to start composting.

Bag them in those big brown paper leaf bags on a day when they're good and dry (not even dewy). Stand them up on a pallet, toss a tarp over them and secure it with a couple of bungee cords.
