I was wondering, what is the best way to store FF? Is a cool dry place the way to keep it? Or can it be left outside? I wasn't sure if the heat and sun would bother it.
I use 2 three pound folgers coffee cans and rotate between them 1 can usually lasts 3 days so I use can A for 2 days refill with water and crumbles and switch to can B...I stir both a couple times a day and they stay outside on a set of shelves on my back patio
I have been feeding fermented food for over a year now and it is working out great. I make it in a 5 gallon bucket about every 5 days. My chicken LOVE it.
