My peahen laid her first and second eggs! I decided to take them to incubate them because the first one got smashed. How do I store all the fertile eggs until I put them into the incubator? How long can I keep them before needing to be incubated? I'm trying to wait as long as possible because I have a vacation planned in early June.
Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure about peafowl eggs but I store my chicken eggs in the frige for no more then ten days but that is just me

If you have an automatic egg turner put the eggs in the turner, and store them in a cool place like a basement,,or cool closet,,I think putting them in a fridge with temps around 40 degrees is too cold,,about 55 degrees is best and they need turned 3 times a day

Thanks for the tip on the auto turner. I"m storing mine now and hand turning but will put them in the auto turn.

I don't have an auto turner. I've been storing them in the basement. They're laying on their side horizontally and I've been turning 3 times a day. How long can they be stored until incubation?
