I just don't have a good place for storing my hatching eggs (no basement), so I have them in a spare room with a humidifier and been keeping the window open. I try to keep the room between 50-55% humidity, and under 68 degrees. Yesterday it got pretty warm. When I got home from work the temperature was 72 degrees, and eventually got up to 74 even thought I tried everything to cool the room (minus turning on the A/C). How long can an eggs saved for hatching safely be stored at those temperatures?
I am waiting for a dozen eggs from a breeder to set with mine, and do not plan to set any I've had longer than 9 days.

I keep my eggs in cartons on my counter. It isn't cold enough nor hot enough to affect the eggs. I put the eggs in the incubator once a week so however many I have saved up that week go into the incubator.

Sometimes I store the eggs in a rack on top of the incubator. These are ready to be put in.
