Just thought I'd update you all. The rest of the babies seem to be doing fine, no evidence of chilling. Ralphie is back with his mates now. When I took him back, he was eager to check out the feeder, and get a drink. All the ducks are fine, including the littlest ones. The turkeys and the goose as well as the big chickens are doing fine as well. I really think it was a severe case of fright that caused them to huddle up, smushing the unfortunate ones. They are separated from the big ones, so I know they didn't have a hand ( or wing) in it. While I am sorry to have lost those I did, I am glad that it wasn't worse! Thank you for all your kind words!
