I don't eat meat, but I do know home grown birds are a bit tougher and need a more slow cooking method.

We are starting to put the extra cockerels in the freezer. Makes things calmer.

Our cockerels are all sectioned off, so that does help, but still too many teenage boys lol they keep knocking over thenwater and food, so we've been brainstorming how to adjust it for next year. It was a bucket/cups secured to fenceside, now its just a tub lol thinking of doing a pvc something lol we dont have issues with the girls and their water.
