My girls were never ones to be picked up when they were little and with roosters. I had 3 hens and 3 roosters. If you went to grab them they would play a game of tag with you. I got rid of my roosters and my hens have become such loves to me. So today, my boyfriend went home and let them out of their run to free range for a little bit. I went to his house and i opened the door into the backyard and here comes my little black one (who still doesn’t have a name:/ ) running up to me and squats at me feet. I picked her up and she puts her head on my shoulder. A total heart melter i know! I’m so happy that they have come around and like being picked up now
