straddle leg question in a 12 hour old chick

The bandaid brace was exactly what I did-glad to know this worked for you as well! It needs tightened I think but I'm going to wait until tomorrow. The good news is the chick is standing. I believe it has a broken toe but I can't tell for sure. I'm tempted to leave it alone as my sense is that I will hurt it if I try to mess with it too much and I don't think this will impact its quality of life in the future. It has finally pooped but it is reluctant to eat or drink. Not too concerned about the food at this point but I would like to see it taking more water. I'm dipping the beak and it will take a little but not as much as I'd like. I'm not going to get too concerned until tomorrow as the chick is still contentedly cheeping and loudly protesting when I fuss with it. I didn't find any B vitamins when I was at the feed store but I may try a different one tomorrow. Thanks for all of the help!
