Straddle/spray leg on one side?

I've got it in a splint but it looks like his leg won't bend at the elbow/knee. It can't stand at all, just flaps around and gets no where is the splint my best option? Anything else I can do?

It may have a slipped hock tendon, which is curable… See here for more info and treatments:

I like to use the Altman tape splint on small avians. Remember you don't need too much bandage material for the babies. A tiny application of Vet Wrap will work wonders in some cases. You have to weigh the pros and cons of bandaging, though. If the patient is so stressed that it will not eat or move about you'll have to think other treatments to try.
