Mai let out a small laugh, but still was a little scared by his story.

Charlie looked at Mai.

"Can you play piano?" He asked.

Mai watched her go. "Great, thanks." she said glaring at charlie. she went back to her hut and locked it again. So far the only people she liked on this island were Jaiquill and Blake, and that was it!

Charlie was a little confused.

He could never make friends. I guess they all thought he was too weird.

But he was very hungry, so he walked off into the woods, the far side from where Jaquill went, looking for some fruit.

Jaiquill's silhouette could be seen not far. She had her recurve in her hands and had drawn it, up on her knees in a nearby tree. She fired the bow, lodging in a deer's lung area that was about 50 yards away from her. She dropped from the tree and walked over to the deer. She took her pocket knife, since she didn't have a gun to shoot it once more, and made a slow incision across the deers throat, ending its life painlessly. She, then, begun to field dress the deer, a little blood on her hands.

Charlie found a bush full of odd purple fruits. He began tugging at it, it woulden't let loose.

She, using an old rope, slung the deer onto her shoulder. Jaiquill walked past Charlie, and rolled her eyes when he couldn't get it off. She headed over, flipping open her pocket knife and slowly sawing the stem, she got it off. She handed it to him, picked up her carcass and continued on.

Charlie closed his eyes and whispered.
