Cassie saw the dragon but pretended to pay no attention when she eaded over to Jaquill. "Jaquill, just thought I'd tell you but you've been voted head of the island."

Silvertounge looked up at Cassie with large, curious eyes, cocking her head, blinking.

"Oh, thank you, Cassie." Jaiquill smiled. "I'll lead the best I can."

Mai smiled at the news, but smiled more to the dragon. Seeing it only made her want to be a foxfire even more!

Silvertounge stretched her wings and walked down from Jaiquill's shoulder to her hand, and Jaiquill placed one hand in front of the dragon repeadedly as a game.

"Silvertounge is beautiful" Mai said, admiringly. She noticed that this dragon was very different from Matsi.

Silvertounge swung her tiny head to look at Mai. Her big blue eyes closed and a grin spread over her face as if to say 'Thank you!' She opened her eyes again and let out a gurgling, light: "Chuuu!"

Silvertounge blinked, and hummed again.

A faded, echoey voice, light and cute, passed through Mai's mind. Silvertounge kept watching her with her large, icy blue eyes.

Jaiquill chuckled. "Silvertounge apparently can."
