Mai saw the horse. He reminded her of her horse back home. She shook her head. She was a little disappointed when the horse turned back into a carving, though. She continued with hers, though it was not as good as Jaiquill's
With a little difficulty, she created her next beast. It was a powerful white tiger with long teeth as it parted its jaws to roar at her. It paced back and forth, and roared again.
Mai inched closer to Jaiquill. Then she remembered that, if it touched her, it would turn into a carving. She walked over to Jaiquill, more confidently, and sat down to watch.
The tiger inched away from her, and bared it's sharp teeth protectively over Jaiquill, tail lashing. It was an incredibly gorgeous creature, and it moved entirely fluidly.
