strang noise

1 of my 28 and half week rir is making a strange craaa craaaaaa craa craa noise today and is pacing up and down! Does anyone think i will get my first egg today ( sorry about the way i explained the noise its just the way it sounds! also it is my sons 8th birthday today and it would be so nice if we got our first egg!!

sounds like very soon , mine paced around for a couple days like that , then started laying

wow 28 weeks! My RIR's started at 19, they started acting weird and making a fuss and pacing. but the next day I would have an egg.

Yes, pacing and being vocal are two things that they do RIGHT before they start laying.
