I just noticed that my chicken has bumps on both of her earlobes. I've never seen or heard of this before. Does anyone have any idea what this is? She's about 2 years old and the only one our of 16 chickens that has it.

I’m not sure what that is, but could she have fowl pox from mosquitoes? There is a scab on the right corner of her beak, and what look like scabs on the white bumpy earlobes. Do you have a lot of mosquitoes out now? Could she have been pecked?

We don't have a lot of mosquitoes out. I have 4 leghorns and 12 cinnamon queens. The leghorns are really fast moving and they could get away from pecking pretty quick I think.

That's crazy!
Did this how up overnight or do you know how long they've been there?
Also.....where in this world do you live?

I live in central Arkansas. I just saw it today. I have no idea how long it has been like that. She doesn't seem to be ill at all. She seems normal. Leghorns are not very social like a lot of other chickens. They are very skittish and they won't come very close. Nothing like this on the others.
