Strange color on my roosters Bum

Hey guys I recently noticed my rooster has a bright red booty, its not ALL over the butt area its literally like 2 circles on horizontal sides of the vent. What should I do?

If the feathers arnt being picked by other birds, there are two other possibilities; external parasites or urates in feces scalding his rear end.
I suspect the latter. You can use Desitin cream or Nu Stock ointment until healed. Wear disposable gloves when applying either product.

Im sure others aren't poking him, I'll try and use those creams
