No it is fully enclosed chicken wire over cattle panels.Is the wire big enough that zorro could've pulled it out of the pen after a hen layed it?!

I did wonder if a wild bird. We don't have anything running loose besides the rooster. I have been working too much to let them roam. We have racoons that show up even during the day sometimes. The bobcats come out at dusk which is how I lost several a couple years ago. That particular bobcat is now stuffed and mounted.Maybe a duck or goose?

Was just truly curious because I had never heard of or experienced anything quite so strange. Thank you for the link! I knew there are some strange mutations in nature, especially with all the chemicals and hormones they stick in our food supply and environment.
