strange disease

i have over 70 bycs that is mixed up frm a few weeks old to mature ones..of late there is this strange killer disease..the chicken get moody,their feet become week and they can nolonger stand, they refuse food then eventually die.the whole process usually takes 1-2weeks.Ones one is dead another one follows suit

could you chickens be getting into something they shouldn't eat? Weed or bug killer. Or maybe food that got wet and got moldy.

Also Mareks and other illnesses cause lameness as sourland said.
