Steve, when I saw the Eagle today, it was a pretty amazing bird (after my duck was enclosed and covered). I was surprised how different they look then their parents when they are juveniles. I will try to get pictures. It almost seems to soar for the pure joy of it. I am going to research and find out how to tell the difference if its a male or female.
I guess the fish in the pond attracted it to the area. He has moved to a tree across the pond so I can actually see it better, which means it can see the yard better, so the duck will no longer free range the yard, unless I am physically outside with him and not just on the porch. What really surprised me was how brave my little drake was trying to scare him off.
Thanks to all for not making me feel like I went overboard.
