It has their normal roll-away paint tray with a fake grass pad and then a nesting pad on top of that (they like to hollow that out to make it nice and cozy!). So no, no sharp edges. What kind of bedding was in the nesting box? Is it a flat box or does it have edges that the egg could land on?
I would keep an eye on her next egg.It has their normal roll-away paint tray with a fake grass pad and then a nesting pad on top of that (they like to hollow that out to make it nice and cozy!). So no, no sharp edges.
Hard, but very thin. The whole shell was thinner than usual.Looks like it cracked while being shelled.
Could have been caused by the stress of moving.
Was the cracked part flexible or hard?
