Strange eggs

I caught one of my girls laying strange eggs she sounds as if shes in pain everytime she lays them is that normal ? Shes young so maybe not sure 8 weeks , c

The outside texture looks pretty rough too...

New layers often take a while to settle down. I've had hens lay brown eggs now and then too. That egg doesn't look like there are any problems with it.

Its weirdly coloured compared to the rest it's a cool colour but very odd

It's actually smooth ish not as smooth as the rest though

I got an egg that colour just last night. They happen. You may occasionally get a white egg too. Your hen is still young and she may take a few weeks to start producing larger and more "normal" eggs. She might continue to lay brown ones for the rest of her life, though. Each bird is different, and that too is normal.

Usually young hens will lay weird eggs first (practice eggs). I've seen ones completely round, soft/nearly translucent shell, all white, weird shapes, etc. Eventually their eggs will normalize and become more standard looking. Also, the type of bedding they are on will affect their egg patterns (if they live on white sand/light bedding their eggs will have less spots and on dark dirt their eggs will be super speckled) to better blend in.
