No idea why anyone would use someone elses tags on a different dog. Hopefully an owner will turn up.

It's very strange. Dean was pulling the trash can in from off the street, and she just walked up to him. He starts having a conversation with her.

Hi Dog. Who are you?

Oh, I have a dog named Molly, too. And she's also a black lab.

Huh, that area code looks familliar**. Hey!! That's my phone number!!

** The phone number is Dean's cell phone from CA. No one around here is likely to have the same one.

I just can't figure out why someone would put another dog's tags on their dog... strange...

Just askin' . Any chance the " dog sitter" could be involved in this. Do you usually take the dog's collar off......why did she. How did your dog lose the collar.

Other than the obvious questions......it's rather freaky......but kinda cool too.

I'm betting that somebody found the collar, had a lab that they wanted to be rid of, put your collar on her so that whoever found he would call YOU. Good move on their part; after all, YOU are going to end up keeping her. BETCHA!
