Strange growth on australorp chick

I have an Australorp chick who has a large bulge on one breast. He/she does not seem to be in pain when I squeeze it. It is about twice the size of the other side of it body and does not feel like normal flesh. It almost feel like food is getting caught there. Is that possible and if not what is up with him and what should I do? Please help, I will post pics soon

search "impacted crop". I'm not an expert, but this might be your chick's problem.

I had a Dominique with similar problem last week.

This lump is called a crop. It will fill up during the day and empty out at night. If it is much smaller in the morning then it is doing exactly what it should be.
