Okay, I didn't see my first chick zip the egg. But when he was hatching it looked like his head was down and he was pushing with the back of his head. Today, I have a new chick zipping. It looks like he is using his beak to zip the egg. So does it rearrange itself after zipping so that it can push out? I guess I imagined once it zipped it would just stick it's head out, but it didn't, it pushed the egg apart for over an hour and finally lifted it's head after the egg was far apart. How amazing it is to see all of this.

Think circus contoranists , lol there heads are down and bent at funky angles to zipp around the egg then they can push up with there heads and come out
