Strange looking chick

Here are some more pics. Managed to get all 4 this time. 2 pics per bird. Will tsc take the roos back seeing as they sold them as pullets. I really didn't want bantam breeds since I was getting them for eggs, but I have become attached to the smooth one.

Tractor Supply will probably give you a refund, but for biosecurity reasons will probably refuse to take your birds back. I say that without checking with them, but that's my guess. I couldn't find anything about their policy about live animal returns in their Chick Days literature online, but I doubt they allow them.

And most sellers have a "we sex our birds BUT it is not an exact science so no take-backsies" policy anyway, to protect themselves from unwanted cockerels. They'll happily give you your three bucks back, but they don't want your roos.

I wish they were $3, paid $15 for all, but since I no longer have my receipt i doubt I will get refunded that. Looks like I will be rehoming, shame since I've gotten attached.

Yes they’re bantam Cochins that got put in the wrong bin. The only hatchery that sells sexed bantam Cochins are MPC and maybe Cackle but I don’t think they offer red ones. Even so they’re $10 each so I doubt they would supply them to TSC.

Frizzles need to be bred to smooth so it is a good thing the pullet is a smooth and then you can choose a frizzled cockerel to go with her if you decide to breed them.
