Strange looking chick

Yes they’re bantam Cochins that got put in the wrong bin. The only hatchery that sells sexed bantam Cochins are MPC and maybe Cackle but I don’t think they offer red ones. Even so they’re $10 each so I doubt they would supply them to TSC.

Frizzles need to be bred to smooth so it is a good thing the pullet is a smooth and then you can choose a frizzled cockerel to go with her if you decide to breed them.
I really don't want to breed them, I am interested in eggs only. I have gotten so attached to them, I don't know what to do. Roosters aren't very popular around here, they more than likely become food. It would have been better if they were regular sized chickens instead of bantam.

Cackle doesn't sell sexed Cochins, period. They sell LF and Bantam, but neither are offered as sexed.

He is pretty dang cute. Where are you located? Maybe you could find him a home with someone on your state thread.
South carolina. May end up keeping the pullet and one of the roos as pets, not breeding them, and taking the other 2 to auction. I am going to wait a few more weeks.
