Hello ! Thank you for any responses in advance!
OK here goes, we have 8 laying hens....most days I get 6 eggs...some white, some brown....We have 3 Leghorns and 4 Isa Browns , and Trudy our brood hen who is black with fuzzy feet...no idea .... We have had these chickens since October....
The last 3 days in a row I have gotten an egg from the nesting box that is CREAM color...and about half the size of our regular eggs...it is also more oblong than the other eggs.... they're kind of "skinny" lookingI haven't cracked one open to see if they are "normal" eggs yet...
Any ideas?

OK ..... I am officially "in Love" with this site...lots of info and pics!!!!
Trudy is a Black Cochin and it says they lay small light brown eggs and are usually the last ones to lay in a mixed flock...also says they lay well in the winter.....I LOVE THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!!

The eggs sound like pullet eggs- kind of small and funny shaped. They will probably get bigger and more "normal" looking over time. They are probably perfectly fine.
