Strange Poo and Angel Wing

Hey everyone, just a fast question I have for you. We put Echo and Fluffy out to free range and they been on their own now for a few days. However, last night I brought them inside for a nice bath and noticed their poo has completely changed. Instead of the normal Whitish poo, it is now tar black, runny and seems to be very fibrous. I can't decide if this is because of the grass they are eating all the time or if it could be that they are actually eating the dirt that we have here. We live in Minnesota so most of our yard is black dirt under the grass. Is this normal? Before when our ducks were free ranged, this never happened. Also, we still feed crumble in addition to whatever they eat outside. We figured it would be best to make sure they get a balanced diet and all the nutrients they need.

P.S. both of them have Angel Wing. Echo's is far more worse then Fluffy's. Can Angel Wing fix it's self or should I wrap them both just to be sure?
