Hey I’m new to this community as I am a new chick owner. I’m honestly not sure if this post belongs here but I wasn’t sure where else to put it.
one of my 3 week old (estimated) chicks has been having some strange droppings. They are very dark in color, quite smelly, and take a while to dry. The chicks seem to be acting normal, eating drinking and active. One is a blue ameraucana and the other is a blue laced red wyandotte.
I will attach a picture of one of these droppings on a towel. They don’t seem like cecal droppings to me personally, though I have seen a very small amount of blood in some of their other poops. Should I get them tested for coccidiosis? Or something else entirely?
