Strange Question of the day???

I'm kinda like Silkie's.......I had TWO ingrown toenails removed (at different times, mind you), both the big toenails. Gosh they hurt! Just seems like when you stand, all the blood pressure rushes down there and makes it throb! My nails never did correctly grow back. If I wear open-toed shoes (very, very, very rarely), I actually buy the toenails from Wal-Mart and super glue them on!!!

DH and I had been together for three years before he saw my feet.

You guys are making me cringe just reading this!!

I have never had toenail problem but my DH has and he said it will hurt like HE double hockey sticks for at least the next week or so. Hang in there!! I hope its feeling better soon!!

The end of a long weekend of dog agility, 11pm and I head to the car to do something (I forget - it was late and right before a lot of pain :| ). My friends dog tries to head out the hotel door as I'm going out, I try and close the door quickly, my foot doesn't make it...

My toenail has been hanging on by a thread since

. Oh God the pain, wrapped it up, found an ER, they didn't do much. Went to the Dr's when I got home, she gave me some Ibuprofen and said keep it clean. I had to go buy flip flops so I could get around. Took about 2 weeks to heal under there, now I wear a dressing to keep the nail from catching and re-ripping. I am a little scared to go back to the Dr and have her cut it off. I still can't wear closed toed shoes, but I might have to tough-up and get there soon so I can run my dogs in August.
