strange shaped egg

has any one had eggs shaped like this and know what may cause it iv just taken on some ex battery hens and got this egg the other day

An ex battery hen would have had a hard life and poor diet prior coming to live with you, so a few funky eggs normal as she gets used to the new lifestyle. However if you want to look into this more, here is a link:
