Strange non stop sound, new to chickens and need advice. She was fine all day, started this at roost time in coop. Looked down throat and looks normal, no mucous or discharge. I gave her some olive oil with garlic juice, in case of worms or something lodged. Massaged neck and crop, put breathing essential oils on throat and under wings. Got her to eat and drink a little as well. She calmed down dramatically in about an hour.

Made a video at her worst, she’s pretty quiet now and put back in coop. She still breathing heavy, but no sound thankfully.

Anything else I should give her tomorrow?

Sounds like stridor when food, water or a little mucous has entered their airway. It usually resolves on it's own over the course of several hours.

I'm glad that she's improving. I wouldn't syringe oil into a chicken that is in distress. Hardened coconut oil is a little better to give.

Oil and garlic juice will not treat worms.

I would check her crop first thing in the morning before she's had anything to eat/drink to make sure it's empty.
