Strange thing just came out of my hen

Help…what is this? Just watched this come out of my Cochin

It looks like it could be a not-completely-formed eggshell. It may have broken inside the hen. But I'm not entirely sure, so hopefully someone more knowledgeable can give some input.

I was thinking it looked like a deflated egg. New to this whole chicken thing. Anything unusual throws me for a loop.
