I just sat here and read 42 pages thinking for sure the culprit would have had to be found by now. I thought I might skip ahead but I was having so much fun laughing at the posts I couldn't do it.

I am subbing now too so I can keep up with Fluffy, Stinky, strange cat and ghost snake. We shall see....or not.

I didn't read all 42 pages but the first pics looked like a turtle, could also be a big lizard like beaded or gila monster.
The description sounded more like snake.
What part of Calif are you in?
Did you post the size of the drag marks?

Well, it was really nice here yesterday - warm, sun out. Not sure if there were track marks as my husband let that group of chickens out. i have a pulled muscle in my leg that is a pain, so he's been helping out. On the game cam, i got more pictures of Fluffy. i did my best to block the areas where she was coming out from under the playhouse into that pen, so she scoots out the side of the pen to the back. i keep hoping a cat will get her, but this one was just 3 seconds too late. Too bad we don't have ferals anymore. i don't think a house cat would know what to do with such a big rat.
